These rare pseudomorph stones come from the White Desert in Farafra, Egypt. Prophecy Stones are a Limonite & Hematite pseudomorph after Marcasite & Pyrite has disapeared. Although the original shape remains from Marcasite & Pyrite, the entire mineral has actually transformed.

I’ve read that ‘Prophecy stones are a pseudomorph, meaning that the pyrite/marcasite retains its shape for the most part while being replaced by limonite/hematite. (sort of like petrified wood where the wood becomes agatized). I love this stone it sends out positive vibes the first time i used it I even thought I could feal a low electrical current and my palms turned red. I had a dream about my stone also but I am not going to go into details only to say it was about the stone morphing!
