Ammonites are an extinct group of ocean-dwelling mollusk animals who had freely roamed the planet for millions of years & were often referred to as “Snakestones” for their strong resemblance to a coiled snake.  Due to their body shape, these fossilized creatures are symbols of continual change & evolution.
