*Taranis Celtic God of Thunder
Like Jupiter for the Romans, Taranis controlled thunder and lightning, depicted here in the Taranis Celtic God of Thunder Statue. Made from cold-cast bronze, this hand-painted statue depicts the Celtic god of thunder. Taranis stands in a spiral of clouds. The bare-chested god wears a cloth around his waist. His left hand is up in the air behind him, holding a bolt of lightning. His right hand rests on a wheel, one of his aspects. Below the god is a whirlwind resting on a rocky ground. Another golden bolt of lightning sticks out of the ground. The base has a small plaque that reads Taranis. This statue makes a great addition to any Celtic decor or mythology collection.
Statue is made of cold cast-bronze & stands 10" tall
